Volunteer Commitments
• Minimum one year commitment
• Lead three or four trips per year
• Attend mentor meetings held every other month
• Attend an annual mentor training retreat
• Contact a list of active WIN participants on a monthly basis
• Maintain contact with an agency that serves women in transition through periodic
   presentations and phone calls

Applicant Requirements
We're seeking women who have some or all of the following attributes:
• Age 21 and over
• Women of color or bilingual are encouraged to apply
• Enthusiastic about our organization
• Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder training (or obtain within three months
   of becoming a WIN mentor)
• Experience or desire to develop skills in hiking, snowshoeing, and other outdoor activities
• Leadership skills
• Experience working with women in transition, such as substance abuse recovery, healing
   from a major illness, homelessness, loss of a loved one, employment change, etc.
